The 5.5 cm Swiss Mini Gun is undoubtedly one of the worlds smallest firearms. Or is it? The gun is so small there are a few countries that won’t even classify it as a firearm (France for example) and several that are undecided. The slow velocity of it’s 2.34 mm cartridge that it dispenses plays a major part in that decision. FN P90 and PS90

Featuring yet another version of FN USA’s trademark ambidextrous design, the FN P90 and it’s civilian version counterpart the PS90 touts innovative features. From its bottom side spent casing ejector to its unique 50 round top mounted magazine. The FN PS90 is a semi-automatic only sport version designed for the civilian market. It has a 407 mm barrel, an olive drab synthetic stock body. So the most obvious distinguisher you’ll notice by a simple glance inspection between the 2 is the longer barrel on the civilian version. The weapon fires the “new” 5.7 x28 rounds.

Colt AR-15

We won’t get into the whole what makes an AR-15 an AR-15 debate. This is not an opinion blog. We just like to show photos :). Seen here are a wide range of AR-15 weapon configurations including with compressor. There are so many different tactical and long range configurations out there for the AR that we just couldn’t list them all in one sitting. However and we find more you can bet we’ll be adding them to this post

Golden AK-47 (Automatic Kalashnikov 1947)

This weapon (the golden one anyway) truly became famous in the the 2005 movie Lord of War starring Nicolas Cage. Seen here are photos of the actual gun given to former president of Iraq and now deceased Saddam Hussein by one of his sons. Note the inscription on the wooden portion that translated to english says “Gift to Mr. President Saddam Hussein, President of the Republic of Iraq”.

The weapons was last known to have been seized at Heathrow Airport after arriving on a British Airways flight from Kuwait. It was believed to have been stolen and being sold on the black market as a war trophy and was bound for a U.S. address. The loaded weapon and its spare clip were wrapped in bubble wrap but were easily picked up by an airport x-ray machine.

The weapon is also famously portrayed in the popular first person shooter video game Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare (COD4 MW) shown below.
